“Be inspired by great men lives through their famous passages”

Things To Always Remember And One To Never Forget

20 Things To Always Remember And One To Never Forget

 1. Your presence is a present to the world.
Somewhere there is someone that dreams of your smile, and finds in your presence that life is worthwhile, so when you are lonely remember it’s true, someone somewhere is thinking of you. You must love yourself before you love another. By accepting yourself and fully being what you are, your simple presence can make others happy.

2. You're unique and one of a kind.

“No matter what age you are, or what your circumstances might be, you are special, and you still have something unique to offer. Your life, because of who you are, has meaning.” Barbara De Angelis

Don't let anyone tell you that you have to be a certain way. Be unique. Be what you feel.

3. Your life can be what you want it to be.

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes.

4. Take the days just one at a time.

One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.

5. Count your blessings, not your troubles.

Count your blessings. Once you realize how valuable you are and how much you have going for you, the smiles will return, the sun will break out, the music will play, and you will finally be able to move forward the life that God intended for you with grace, strength, courage, and confidence. May God give you...For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh a sweet song and an answer for each prayer.

6. You'll make it through whatever comes along.

“When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened.” John M. Richardson, Jr.

Live this day as if it will be your last. Remember that you will only find ''tomorrow'' on the calendars of fools. Forget yesterday's defeats and ignore the problems of tomorrow. This is it. Doomsday. All you have. Make it the best day of your year. The saddest words you can ever utter are, ''If I had my life to live over again. ''Take the baton, now. Run with it! This is your day! Beginning today, treats everyone you meet, friend or foe, loved one or stranger, as if they were going to be dead at midnight. Extend to each person, no matter how trivial the contact, all the care and kindness and understanding and love that you can muster, and do it with no thought of any reward. Your life will never be the same again.

7. Within you are so many answers.

“When you find peace within yourself, you become the kind of person who can live at peace with others.” Peace Pilgrim

Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.

8. Understand, have courage, be strong.

“To understand everything is to forgive everything” Buddha
“Courage is going from failure to failure without losing enthusiasm.” Winston Churchill
“A man must be big enough to admit his mistakes, smart enough to profit from them, and strong enough to correct them.” John C. Maxwell

May you have enough happiness to make you sweet, enough trials to make you strong, enough sorrow to keep you human enough hope to make you happy.

9. Don't put limits on yourself.

“If you limit your choices only to what seems possible or reasonable, you disconnect yourself from what you truly want, and all that is left is compromise.” Robert Fritz

10. So many dreams are waiting to be realized.

Build this day on a foundation of pleasant thoughts. Never fret at any imperfections that you fear may impede your progress. Remind yourself, as often as necessary, that you are a creature of God and have the power to achieve any dream by lifting up your thoughts. You can fly when you decide that you can. Never consider yourself defeated again. Let the vision in your heart be in your life's blueprint. Smile!

11. Decisions are too important to leave to chance.

“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

It's not what's happening to you now or what has happened in your past that determines who you become. Rather, it's your decisions about what to focus on, what things mean to you, and what you're going to do about them that will determine your ultimate destiny.

12. Reach for your peak, your goal, and your prize.

“Peak performers develop powerful mental images of the behavior that will lead to the desired results. They see in their mind's eye the result they want, and the actions leading to it.” Charles Garfield
“The achievement of your goal is assured the moment you commit yourself to it.” Mack R. Douglas

Without ambition one starts nothing. Without work one finishes nothing. The prize will not be sent to you. You have to win it.

13. Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.

“There is only one way to happiness and that is to cease worrying about things which are beyond the power of our will.” Epictetus quotes

Life is short, don't waste time worrying about what people think of you Hold on to the ones that care, in the end they will be the only ones there.” You can't change the past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about the future.

14. The longer one carries a problem, the heavier it gets.

“The problem is not the problem; the problem is your attitude about the problem”

“Live life fully while you're here. Experience everything. Take care of yourself and your friends. Have fun, be crazy, be weird. Go out and screw up! You're going to anyway, so you might as well enjoy the process. Take the opportunity to learn from your mistakes: find the cause of your problem and eliminate it. Don't try to be perfect; just be an excellent example of being human.” Anthony Robbins

15. Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” Reinhold Niebuhr

“Live with intention. Walk to the edge. Listen hard. Practice wellness. Play with abandon. Laugh. Choose with no regret. Appreciate your friends. Continue to learn. Do what you love. Live as if this is all there is.” Mary Anne Radmacher

Prayer is not a way of making use of God; prayer is a way of offering ourselves to God in order that He should be able to make use of us. It may be that one of our great faults in prayer is that we talk too much and listen too little. When prayer is at its highest we wait in silence for God's voice to us; we linger in His presence for His peace and His power to flow over us and around us; we lean back in His everlasting arms and feel the serenity of perfect security in Him.

16. Remember that friendship is a wise investment.

“The finest kind of friendship is between people who expect a great deal of each other but never ask it” Sylvia Bremer

But what is the good of friendship if one cannot say exactly what one means? Anybody can say charming things and try to please and to flatter, but a true friend always says unpleasant things, and does not mind giving pain. Indeed, if he is a really true friend he prefers it, for he knows that then he is doing good.

17. Realize that it's never too late.

“You cannot do a kindness too soon, for you never know how soon it will be too late.” Ralph Waldo Emerson

The time for action is now. It's never too late to do something.

18. Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.

“Success is doing ordinary things extraordinarily well.” Jim Rohn

When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and your discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.

19. Have health and hope and happiness.

“The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future, or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly.” Buddha quotes

Never let go of hope. One day you will see that it all has finally come together. What you have always wished for has finally come to be. You will look back and laugh at what has passed and you will ask yourself... 'How did I get through all of that?

“There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.” George Sand

I asked God for strength that I might achieve. I was made weak that I might learn humbly to obey. I asked for health that I might do greater things. I was given infirmity that I might do better things. I asked for riches that I might be happy. I was given poverty that I might be wise. I asked for power that I might have the praise of men. I was given weakness that I might feel the need of God. I asked for all things that I might enjoy life. I was given life that I might enjoy all things. I got nothing that I asked for, but everything I hoped for. Almost despite myself, my unspoken prayers were answered. I am, among all men, most richly blessed.

20. Take the time to wish upon a star.

“Dreams do come true, if we only wish hard enough. You can have anything in life if you will sacrifice everything else for it.” James Matthew Barrie

“There is hope in dreams, imagination, and in the courage of those who wish to make those dreams a reality.”
