“Be inspired by great men lives through their famous passages”

“When you are inspired by some great purpose, some extraordinary project, all your thoughts break their bonds: Your mind transcends limitations, your consciousness expands in every direction, and you find yourself in a new, great, and wonderful world. Dormant forces, faculties and talents become alive, and your discover yourself to be a greater person by far than you ever dreamed yourself to be.”

Brilliance Is Not A Qualification To Succeed

Brilliance Is Not A Qualification To Succeed

Too often we fall into the trap of labeling people. We look at someone’s degrees and label them brilliant. We applaud people based on their diplomas, degrees and certificates. You can have more degrees than a thermometer, but be as cold as ice when it comes to important things like relationships, love, commitment, understanding…

“People don’t care how much we know, they care how much we care about them. They are about what is really important, like helping them achieve their goals.”
Brilliance isn’t found in a diploma or an award, it’s found in your heart. The word brilliance means ‘great brightness; radiance/sparkle.’ The word brilliant in French means ‘to shine’ Why don’t you decide today to go out and shine some light in someone’s life.

Brilliance is not about diplomas on walls. It is about get-up-and-go, intuition, instinct, perception, initiative, enthusiasm, a ‘can do’ attitude, and an ability to see things that can be done, without complaining about what can’t be done. Don’t be concerned about the brilliance you may or may not have as far as an education is concerned. If you have a hunger to learn, then you are going to be brilliant.

Challenge: Think about the things in your life that are your strengths. Write them down. What are the characteristics of your life that make you brilliant and unique? It is easy to find the negatives, but I want you to make a conscious effort to find the positives and list them.

Upgrade Our Genuine Desire To Succeed

If you want something badly enough, then quitting is simply not an option. You either find a way or make one. You pay the price, whatever it takes. You desire is the fire that heats you up to perform, to excel. You know that a small fire cannot heat much; so it is necessary to have a large and intense fire to heat more. That intense fire is your passion –your burning desire to excel in anything.

A burning desire to reach your goals is a factor that sets you apart from one who wishes or is a dreamer. Without desire nothing can be accomplished. It creates the energy necessary to do what is ever needed to achieve success.

“Success is focusing the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve.” Wilfred Peterson

“The first principle of success is desire - knowing what you want. Desire is the planting of your seed.” Robert Collier

“You can have anything you want - if you want it badly enough. You can be anything you want to be, do anything you set out to accomplish if you hold to that desire with singleness of purpose.” Abraham Lincoln

“The starting point of all achievement is desire” Napolehon Hill

“Whatever you vividly imagine, ardently desire, sincerely believe, and enthusiastically act upon must inevitably come to pass.” Paul J. Meyer

“In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure.” Bill Cosby

“Plant the seed of desire in your mind and it forms a nucleus with power to attract to itself everything needed for its fulfillment.” Roberht Collier

“Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once, whether you ready or not, to put this plan into action.” Napoleon Hill

“The key to success is to focus our conscious mind on things we desire not things we fear.” Brian Tracy

“A man of ability and the desire to accomplish something can do anything.” Donald Kircher

Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it. Every success is built on the ability to do better than good enough. Strength of character means the ability to overcome resentment against others, to hide hurt feelings, and to forgive quickly. Men often become what they believe themselves to be. If I believe I cannot do something, it makes me incapable of doing it. But when I believe I can, then I acquire the ability to do it even if I didn't have it in the beginning.

“Thoughts mixed with definiteness of purpose, persistence, and a burning desire are powerful things.” Napoleon Hill

“Focus more on your desire than on your doubt, and the dream will take care of itself. You may be surprised at how easily this happens. Your doubts are not as powerful as your desires, unless you make them so.” Marcia Wieder

“The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to reach your full potential... these are the keys that will unlock the door to personal excellence.”

“A life is either all spiritual or not spiritual at all. No man can serve two masters. Your life is shaped by the end you live for. You are made in the image of what you desire.” Thomas Merton

Christmas Prayer and Blessing To All

Heavenly Father, thank you for sending your Son Jesus Christ here on earth so many years ago.  Thank you that He paid the punishment for all my sins by dying on the cross.  And thank you that He rose again from the dead. I place my trust in You to be my Savior. Guide me through the dark times of my life and give me courage to live for You. Lord Jesus, please forgive me for being so unreasonable as I walk through the never-ending talks set before me this holiday season... Restore the joy of Christmas to my heart and help me to relax each day and make time for YOU.

Father in Heaven, You crowns another year with peace and good will. Help us rightly to remember the birth of Jesus, that we may share in the song of the angels, the gladness of the shepherds. Close the doors of hate and open the doors of love to us and all over the world. Let kindness come with every gift and good desires with every greeting. Deliver us from evil, by the blessing that Christ brings, and teach us to be happy with clean hearts. May this Christmas make us happy to be your children and bring us all with grateful thoughts, forgiving and forgiven, for Jesus sake. Jesus, the Light of the World, as we celebrate your birth,  may we begin to see the world in the light of the understanding you’ve given us.  As you chose the humble, the outcasts, and the poor to receive the greatest news the world had ever known, so may we worship you in humbleness of heart.  May we also remember our brothers and sisters less fortunate than ourselves in this season of giving.  THANK YOU, LORD, for the gift of Your love. May I be a shining example of that love to others.  Amen.

A CHRISTMAS BLESSING TO ALL OF YOU
 God grant you the light of Christmas, which is faith;
the warmth of Christmas, which is purity;
the righteousness of Christmas, which is justice;
the belief in Christmas, which is truth;
the all of Christmas, which is Christ?.

The story of the Birth of Christ Jesus

1Now in those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus, that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth.
2This was the first census taken while Quirinius was governor of Syria.
3And everyone was on his way to register for the census, each to his own city.
4Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David,
5in order to register along with Mary, who was engaged to him, and was with child.
6While they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth.
7And she gave birth to her firstborn son; and she wrapped Him in cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
8In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night.
9And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened.
10But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people;
11for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
12"This will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."
13And suddenly there appeared with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,
14"Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace among men with whom He is pleased."
15When the angels had gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds began saying to one another, "Let us go straight to Bethlehem then, and see this thing that has happened which the Lord has made known to us."
16So they came in a hurry and found their way to Mary and Joseph, and the baby as He lay in the manger.
17When they had seen this, they made known the statement which had been told them about this Child.
18And all who heard it wondered at the things which were told them by the shepherds.
19But Mary treasured all these things, pondering them in her heart.
20The shepherds went back, glorifying and praising God for all that they had heard and seen, just as had been told them.  (Luke 2:1-20).

God gave His only Son to die in our place so that we, in all our brokenness, could know forgiveness. He came so that we could know what love feels like, real love – love that never leaves, love that never disappoints, love that is never betrayed. He sent His Son into a corrupted world to bring us hope.

Lord Jesus, I want to know You personally. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life to You and ask You to come in as my Savior and Lord. Take control of my life. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Bring peace to my world this Christmas. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.

If this prayer expresses the desire of your heart, pray it right now and Christ will come into your life as He promised. If you invited Jesus Christ into your life, thank God often that He is in your life, that He will never leave you and that you have eternal life.

LAWS OF SUCCESS- Laws you can’t afford to ignore

"If you want something badly enough you will get it."
That's right. If you really want something you will get it.

“Success is focusing the full power of all you are on what you have a burning desire to achieve.” Wilfred Peterson

“Every act of will is an act of self-limitation. To desire action is to desire limitation. In that sense, every act is an act of self-sacrifice. When you choose anything, you reject everything else.” G. K. Chesterton

“The first principle of success is desire - knowing what you want. Desire is the planting of your seed.” Robert Collier

Think about your goal.
How bad do you want it?
Are you willing to sacrifice?
Under what conditions will you give up?

If you want something badly enough, then quitting is simply not an option. You either find a way or make one. You pay the price, whatever it takes. You desire is the fire that heats you up to perform, to excel. You know that a small fire cannot heat much; so it is necessary to have a large and intense fire to heat more. That intense fire is your passion –
your burning desire to excel in anything.

“Success means having the courage, the determination, and the will to become the person you believe you were meant to be” George Sheehan

“Believe in your dreams and they may come true; believe in yourself and they will come true”

“Do not believe in anything simply because you have heard it. Do not believe in anything simply because it is spoken and rumored by many. Do not believe in anything simply because it is found written in your religious books. Do not believe in anything merely on the authority of your teachers and elders. Do not believe in traditions because they have been handed down for many generations. But after observation and analysis, when you find that anything agrees with reason and is conducive to the good and benefit of one and all, then accept it and live up to it.”

If you don't believe that you can achieve your goal, you won't. In order to achieve anything, you must believe it is possible at a cellular level. Our subconscious mind doesn't know the difference between dreams and reality. Whatever picture you will consistently think about will drive your actions to create that exact picture. If you are 100% sure you will achieve your goal, if you have a clear picture of achieving it, your subconscious mind will automatically drive your behavior to create this picture in reality.

"The way we think is the way we perform."

“Ability is what you're capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” Lou Holtz

“You cannot control what happens to you, but you can control your attitude toward what happens to you, and in that, you will be mastering change rather than allowing it to master you.” Brian Tracy

Your attitude is everything. It is how you see the things around you, how you deal with the situations you face, and what you think about life. Listen to yourself. If you sound like "God, my life is so difficult. I will never be rich... Everything works against me.... Everyone hates me...", you have a problem. We can't control the obstacles, but we can control our attitude.

A Prayer of Surrender

There is nothing more important in our life than to say "Yes" to Jesus with all our heart and soul, and then to allow the Holy Spirit to work out the meaning of that "Yes" in your life. God loves us "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.(1 John 4:16)" and will always be with us, and all His purposes for our life are good. The more we open up, yield, and simply allow ourselves to be drawn deeply into the Lord's love, the more our lives will come into right order.

Pray it now, from your heart. Pray it in your words, spontaneously, not as a ritual, but with an opening of yourself to God.

"Loving Father, I surrender to You today with all my heart and soul. Please come into my heart in a deeper way. I open all the secret places of my heart. I believe in You and receive  You as my Lord and Savior. I hold nothing back. Holy Spirit, bring me to deeper conversion to the person of Jesus Christ. I surrender all to You: my weaknesses, my strength, my health, my family, my resources, occupation, skills, relationships, successes and failures. I surrender my understanding of how things ought to be, my choices and my will. I surrender to You the promises I have kept and the promises I have failed to keep. I surrender my emotions, my fears, my insecurities, my sexuality. I especially surrender _____________  (Continue to surrender other areas  as the Holy Spirit reveals them to you.) Lord, I surrender my entire life to You, the past, the present and the future. In sickness and in health, in life and in death, I belong to you."

"Take, Lord, and receive, all my liberty, my memory, my understanding, and my entire will, all that I have and possess. You have given all to me. To You, O Lord, I return it. All is Yours. Dispose of it wholly according to Your will. Give me Your love and Your grace, for this is sufficient for me." Amen.

Life Instruction Manual

 Life Instruction Manual
  • Drink plenty of water.
  • Eat breakfast like a king, lunch, like a prince and dinner, like a beggar.
  • Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less food that is manufactured in plants & has to be killed, bled, cured, aged, smoked, fried, or frozen
  • Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm and Empathy.
  • Make time to pray.
  • Play more games. Feed the birds. Plant flowers or vegetables- even in a pot.
  • Read more books than you did in 2008.
  • Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.
  • Sleep for 8 hours.
  • Take a 10-30 minutes walk daily. And while you walk, smile & notice your surroundings, changes in nature every day, & listen to the birds.

Personality:

  • Don't compare your life to others'. You have no idea what their journey is all about.  Each person has their place in the scheme of life.
  • Don't have negative thoughts of things you cannot control. Instead invest your energy in the positive present moment - do what you can to make the world around you better.
  • Don't over do. Keep your limits. Physically, spiritually, financially or emotionally.  Be humble.
  • Don't take yourself so seriously.  No one else does.
  • Don't waste your precious energy on gossip.
  • Dream more while you are awake.
  • Envy is a waste of time. You already have all you need.
  • Forget issues of the past. Don't remind your partner with His/her mistakes of the past.  Don't blame your parents for every problem you have. That will ruin your present . We choose actions & reactions when we become adults.
Happiness.

  • Life is too short to waste time hating anyone. Don't hate others. It's easier to understand & move on.
  • Make peace with your past so it won't spoil the present. Yesterday is gone, & you have a limited number of tomorrows.
  • No one is in charge of your happiness except you. It's your choice to feel happy or miserable, anger or joy, frustration or acceptance, jealousy or peace, shame or pride
  • Realize that life is a school and you are here to learn. Problems are simply part of the curriculum that appear and fade away; like algebra class but the lessons you learn will last a lifetime.
  • Smile and laugh more.
  • You don't have to win every argument. Agree to disagree.

Society:

  • Call your family often.
  • Each day give something good to others.
  • Forgive everyone for everything.
  • Spend time with people over the age of 70 & under the age of 6
  • Try to make at least three people smile each day.
  • What other people think of you is none of your business...
  • Your job won't take care of you when you are sick.  Your friends will. Stay in touch.

 Life:

  • Do the right thing!
  • Get rid of anything that isn't useful, beautiful or joyful..
  • GOD heals everything.
  • However good or bad a situation is, it will change.
  • No matter how you feel, get up , dress up and show up.
  • The best is yet to come.
  • When you awake alive in the morning, thank GOD for it.
  • Your Inner most is always happy.  So, be happy.

   Last but, not the least:

  • Please Share this to everyone you care about - even if they receive it many times, it will be a reminder on how to have a happy, healthy spiritual life , to enjoy each moment we are granted, & how to live free of conflict in harmony with others.
We only share this earth for a short time. Why waste it on hateful thoughts and deeds when there is so much joy and happiness to discover and surround yourself with.

Upgrade Your Thinking

Think like important people think. Upgrading your thinking upgrades your actions, and this produces success.

“Success is a state of mind. If you want success, start thinking of yourself as a success.”

 How Am I thinking? Checklist:

When I worry:
Ask Yourself
Would an important person worry about this? Would the most successful person I know be disturbed about this?

“Worry is like a rocking chair--it gives you something to do but it doesn't get you anywhere.”

An Idea:
Ask Yourself
What would an important person do if he had their idea?

“An idea that is developed and put into action is more important than an idea that exists only as an idea.”

My appearance:
Ask Yourself
Do I look like someone who has maximum self-respect?

“Attitude is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than what people do or say. It is more important than appearance, giftedness, or skill.”

My language:
Ask Yourself
Am I using the language of successful people?

“If we spoke a different language, we would perceive a somewhat different world.”
“Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see” Mark Twain
“Language shapes the way we think, and determines what we can think about.”

What I read:

Ask Yourself

Would an important person read this?

“The man who doesn't read good books has no advantage over the man who can't read them” Mark Twain

“It is what you read when you don't have to that determines what you will be when you can't help it.”

Conversation:
Ask Yourself
Is this something successful people would discuss?

“A man's character may be learned from the adjectives which he habitually uses in conversation”
“Silence is one of the great arts of conversation.”

When I lose my temper:
Ask Yourself
Would an important person get mad at what I’m mad at?

“Never do anything when you are in a temper, for you will do everything wrong.”
“Temper gets you into trouble. Pride keeps you there.”

My jokes:
Ask Yourself
Is this the kind of joke an important person would tell?

“Our subconscious minds have no sense of humor, play no jokes and cannot tell the difference between reality and an imagined thought or image. What we continually think about eventually will manifest in our lives.”

My job:
Ask Yourself
How does an important person describe his job to others?

“Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.”
“Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life.”

You must constantly ask yourself these questions: Who am I around? What are they doing to me? What have they got me reading? What have they got me saying? Where do they have me going? What do they have me thinking? And most important, what do they have me becoming? Then ask yourself the big question: Is that okay? Your life does not get better by chance, it gets better by change.
